Pain in the elbow is a very common medical condition. Elbow pain can be due to several reasons. So, it is important to understand the cause behind the elbow pain. Types of Elbow Pain

Tennis Elbow: When there is inflammation of tendons that attach extensor carpi radialis brevis to the outer bony part of the elbow this leads to a condition known as tennis elbow.

Symptoms:
Persistent aching.
Soreness in forearm muscles.
Morning stiffness of the elbow.
Tenderness on the outer part of the elbow.
Pain in the elbow when holding or pickup up something.

Golfers Elbow: This is a kind of pain that is generally caused when a person overuses the muscles in the forearm. This muscle is responsible for grip, rotation of your arm, and flexing of your wrist. Repetitive flexing, gripping, or swinging can lead to pulls or tears tiny tendons, thus causing pain. This condition is called the Golfers’ Elbow.

Symptoms:
Weakness of grip.
Stiffness in the elbow.
Pain while shaking hands.
Weakness in the wrist area.
Difficulty in movement of the elbow.
Pain while flexing the wrist towards the forearm.
The tingling sensation which extends from elbow and goes till ring and pinky fingers.
